BASYC Inc in partnership with Breakthrough TD1

We are excited to announce that BASYC Inc is partnering with Breakthrough TD1, formerly known as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This partnership aims to raise awareness and provide support for the 85% of youth under 20 affected by juvenile diabetes.  Our season begins with Kickball in an effort to kick against the 85%!

Type 1 diabetes, often referred to as juvenile diabetes, accounts for at least 85% of all diabetes cases in youth under 20 years of age worldwide.  About 85% of people newly diagnosed with type 1 do not have a family history of type 1 diabetes. Being overweight or obese is a significant risk factor for the development of Type 2 diabetes, with 85% of people with Type 2 diabetes being overweight or obese. 

In solidarity with Breakthrough TD1, BASYC Inc. will donate the first $85 of each registration fee to support research and programs that benefit youth fighting the 85% Type 1 diabetes battle.
